Job Title:  Administrative Assistant

This is a part-time position of 10-25 hours per week. You will be working at the TPE office in Madison. There will be opportunities to work from home.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Respond to emails from the public requesting information. This entails acknowledging the query, finding a TPE leader to provide an answer, providing the answer and ensuring the question was answered fully. Develop a “frequently asked questions” document.

 

Arrange Board Meetings (reserve teleconference line; assemble agenda, minutes, and other information; and mail to attendees).

 

Scan financial, land management, and legal documents. Liaise with Datakeep for file pickup and retrieval as necessary.

 

Assist with updates to treasurer’s handbook, board member handbook, and chapter president handbook.

 

Assist membership coordinator with membership database updates, email notices, and renewal notices. Field queries from chapter presidents and board members.

 

Write notes to members acknowledging receipt of dues.

 

Create other documents, forms, and letters as necessary for president, board members, and committee chairs.

 

Assist with Annual Report – collect and creatively lay out information, create charts and diagrams.

Hours

Between 15-20 hours per week.

Location

TPE office at 222 Hamilton, Madison.

Pay

Between $11-$15 per hour, depending on qualifications.
