Updated TPE Volunteer Opportunities for July, 2008

Volunteers are needed to collect seed at Schurch-Thomson Prairie on weekends, weekdays, and evenings. Can work at their own scheduled.

Contact Rich Henderson 845-7065 or tpe.rhenderson@tds.net.

See below for more volunteer opportunities for July.

Volunteers are needed to help control sweet-clovers and parsnip at several sites. Be sure to wear long sleeves, long pants, and gloves for parsnip work. If you have them, bring parsnip predators, brush cutters, or other tools for removing sweet clover or parsnip.

Volunteers are also needed to collect seed.

These activities are great ways to explore prairie vegetation up close and see rare butterflies.
