As landowners, we spend time working in and enjoying our
woods . Ticks are part of that environment. Ticks can carry and transmit diseases such as Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and Powassan Virus. Learn about these diseases, what to look for , and how they can affect you. Street Address:

Our expert speaker is Diep "Zip" Hoang Johnson, an epidemio logist in the Bureau of Communicable Diseases and Emergency Response , Division of Public Health (DPH).
She is currently the Vectorborne Coordinator monitoring for mosquito-borne and tickborne diseases.

She has been at the Dept. of Public Health for 8 years. Before coming to DPH, she worked as a microbiologist at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene for 15 years.
