SOUTHWEST CHAPTER WORK PARTIES

Work party at Borah Creek Prairie. Saturday January 21st from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. 
We'll be cutting trees along the fence line so chainsaws and safety equipment are in order.  Also, strong backs for hauling brush to fires.  We continue to work to make this property more desirable for grassland birds.

Be sure to dress warmly in older clothing with warm work gloves and hats and have plenty of drinking water.  Snacks are good too!

 

Our monthly meeting will follow at a cafe or restaurant in Fennimore at 1:00 p.m.  You are most cordially invited to come and see what we are working on for the new year.

Directions to Borah Creek Prairie: 

From Fennimore head west on US Hwy 18. Turn left onto Cemetery Road and right onto Mount Ridge Road for about 3 miles. The access road into Borah Creek Prairie is on the right at 11949 Mount Ridge Road. (map).
