Part of TPE's mission is to restore prairie, with prescribed burning being one of the major tools we use. The information and links provided here contain TPE specifc and general information on conducting prescribed burns. If you have other resources you would like added, please contact Jim Rogala.
TPE burn plans and policies
The TPE Burn Policy was approved on March 2, 2014. The policy is critical, as protects TPE assets by assuring we perform prescribed burns in a very safe manner. Even aside from the liability issues, the policy will assist in assuring that TPE burns are conducted within the high standards set forth in the policy.
A TPE Burn Plan form is available in a fillable format below.
*** The fillable forms can't be saved with Adobe Reader, so if you don't have an advanced Adobe product, then one method is to cut and paste into a word-processing software to minimize retyping when redoing a form. Contact Jim Rogala with specific comments or if you need assistance with the forms
